I was really disappointed with my experience at the deli today. This was mainly due to the attitude of the staff member who served me and my friends. She seemed like it was a hassle to be serving us, responded with one word answers to any questions we had about the food and generally gave a very negative vibe. This was noticed by my whole party and would deter us from returning again despite the food being good and it being a perfect location for us to visit. As we were leaving the cafe my toddler fell and bumped his face in the garden area, said staff member came to the door, looked at him crying and slammed the cafe door without a word of concern or an offer for help which was quite upsetting.

Really disappointing experience. Popped in for coffees and lunch. Both coffees that we had were weak and tepid. We asked for one to be remade and it was marginally better. One of the paninis that we ordered was wrong which we discovered after having a bite of it, we asked for it to be put right and 15 mins later it was returned to us with additional filling, re-toasted and with the bite out of it. Needless to say, it wasn’t very enjoyable. £7.50 for a panini with no salad on the plate or extras feels expensive, and even more so with the hiccups that we experienced. When we left we said thanks and goodbye and one of the team gave a pretty sarcastic response. We wouldn’t recommend :(
