Such a lovely place! The Dell is a gem in Ryde. Fresh, flavorful dishes with great attention to detail. The beef and pork were outstanding: tender and beautifully cooked. The staff really kind, and the sea view made it extra special. A place I’d happily return to!

This is without doubt the best place so far for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We came across it after a walk 2 days earlier and just had a drink, and decided this was the place for us after looking at going to a more traditional style place. The staff, some young, were so nice and attentive. The food was amazing and the menu perfectly matched the setting. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Our bill reflects what we had as it would have just been rude not to have a bottle of fizz to celebrate.😎

Brilliant!!! The Dell saved the day with wonderful food and service! We had planned an anniversary celebration meal with 27 people at a different restaurant but due to unforeseen circumstances they had to cancel an hour or so before. We called the Dell and they were brilliant at accommodating us! We couldn’t have asked for better food, service and atmosphere. There was even live music! Thank you so much

The staff in this place are Just awful and rude and don’t deserve any customers as of dog walker and temperature is getting lower. It’s quite nice to walk along the seafront with a coffee in your hand so I went into this establishment today to grab a coffee and do just that I was met straight away by a member of staff giving me a really vile look Which confused me but I continue to ask him. Are you serving today due to the look?I was being gave when I walked in. He completely dismissed my question. I then asked three more times. Are you selling coffee? Are you open? He ignored me but it was obvious they are open. Just being really strange. He grabbed a sandwich from behind the council and sat down on one of the tables eating it Just staring at me awkwardlywhile I just stood at the counter a bit confused to what’s actually happening. The girl behind the counter just stood there doing nothing. Another boy that had just finished his shift said right I’m going now to the other staff members. He pointed out the fact that there’s a customer standing at the till he then went .about four minutes after this I finally got served however the girl from behind the counter asked me to wait on the outside of the building when there are other people in this building with dogs and they welcome dogs so I don’t know why I was asked to stand in the cold outside or completely ignored like a piece of Dirt. eventually they brought my coffee to me and it was absolutely disgusting and ended up being thrown in the bin. The experience was shocking and nasty to be treated like that then looked at the review page to witness how they argue with people that leave reviews from now on, I’ll wear a pro go and you can’t get away with making lies up when responding to reviewers but yeah shocking really I suggest the manager check the cameras today and you’ll see exactly what happened and how I was stood there looking like a t for ages definitely won’t be going back to this dreadful establishment that treats customers awfully

Beautiful location and very popular cafe as generally you need to have a reservation. Disappointed as ordered toast and preserves. The sour dough toast was burnt and the perseve that accompanied it was a bitter tasting orange marmalade that did not improve the burnt toast taste. The coffee lattes were served cold in cups that are worn and possibly need replacing.

This Increadible family run establishment serves amazing quality food with a smile and above all looks after its staff and its customers with heartfelt passion. It’s my favourite place to take visitors …. Never had a bad meal here in 8 years. Well done Anna Jason and the staff for being consistent and working so very hard. Best wishes Tim and Jenny X
