We stopped by this Cafe this morning and enjoyed a savoury scone (cheesy and delish), a pastel de nata, tea and coffee - expertly brewed (my husband said!). It’s one of those places that feels like part of the community - warm, welcoming and always buzzing with familiar faces. So nice to see an independent café still going strong.

The Borough Cafe is my favorite! I come here for food and drinks several times a week. Sausage roll is my favorite thing, it is delicious. Attentive and helpful staff. This cafe is absolutely amazing!

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE: AFTER ORDERING COFFEE AND THINKING ABOUT ORDERING BREAKFAST AND THEN SITTING ON A TABLE VERY RUDE MEMBER OF STAFF SAYING IT WAS RESERVED ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY NEGATIVE AND LOTS OF LOUD MUSIC DECOR IS ALSO IN NEED OF MODERNISATION NOT ENOUGH PLACES TO SIT EITHER WITH RESERVED TABLES! OVERALL I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR FOOD OR COFFEE THE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE!!!

The staff are so friendly, really welcoming and the food is outstanding especially their homemade sausage rolls best sausage roll ever. They also do great hot drinks and have a good range of lots of variety

Service was ok but could be better. Coffee was great and the food choice was good but did not eat so cant say about the quality. They did have a fair choice. Cost was average.

Came in for a spot of breakfast before our morning walk. It may have been drizzly outside, but the service was warm and welcome. The food was piping hot and the bacon was particularly good. Have came here before and will continue to do so.
