The main highlight for me was the apple crumble with custard. An absolute food for the soul. It was perfectly hot for both heart and tummy after our drizzly trek to Hareshaw Linn. The acidity and soft crunch of the apple crumble blended harmoniously with the custard’s sweetness. To say that it was heartwarming is an understatement. We also ordered the fruit and almond scone. The cream was light, fluffy, and delicious which complemented the buttery richness of the freshly made scone well. You could see from the picture that it was cut up into tiny pieces and devoured in no time! Staff were very friendly, greeted us with warm smiles. The whole experience was definitely something that would not be forgotten for a long time to come.

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after walking at Kielder. Was surprised how busy it was after 2:00pm. My friend and I both had the home made soup and a cheese scone. Both were perfect and the soup was piping hot which we needed to warm up. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it to anyone passing by.

Food is nice, had a small English. Really slow service though. We had to ask for someone to take our order after sitting there for 10 minites not looking at the menu. They brought my boyfriends Mocha out after my step mum had already finished her tea. We asked to pay at the counter, got told to sit back down and they'll come over and we then have to wait like another 15 for someone to bother coming Considering there were only 3 other tables, unacceptable delays for what looks like no reason. Can't even imagine what it's like during peak season since it's currently the middle of December lol

Very small place but it's a proper old fashioned sarnie place. The coffee was hot and tasty and all the cakes were proper old fashioned yummy ones. Will go back if I'm passing. Free parking to be had here and good lass serving, they also have a toilet.

Fantastic spot in Bellingham for breakfast, tea and cake. I was there for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother-in-law's 90th birthday and it was fabulous. On our way in the door, the outgoing patron very much recommended the breakfasts, so I'll have to give that a go. The afternoon tea was home made and most excellent with a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and an assortment of cakes all served with a smile. Thoroughly recommended. Pro tip: parking in Bellingham can be entertaining as it's busier than you might expect and there's not all _that_ much space so be prepared to fish a bit... Pro tip 2: if your party is larger than 4, I'd definitely think of booking a table as there's only so much space to go around.

The friendliest of welcomes and a spectacular breakfast. Everything cooked perfectly. Coffee is lovely too. The best part is the cake, wow! Massive slices and so tasty. I'm going to be a regular while working in the area but may have to limit my cake intake.
