Absolutely Delicious Sunday Lunch! My husband and I visited The Chequers in Cutnall Green today for Sunday lunch, and I have to say the food was absolutely delicious! The menu offers a great variety of choices, with something to suit everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that makes for a perfect dining experience. We can’t recommend The Chequers highly enough — it’s definitely worth a visit!

We had a lovely meal, delicious Pork Schnitzel with a fabulous nduja ketchup. Followed up by lovely desserts. Very nice atmosphere in a smart pub. Good, friendly service.

Visist frequently, more recently just for drinks. Staff are all very friendly. Last few times we ate the food was fantastic! Garden is great in the summer too. A proper country pub ran how it should be

Nice weekday meal at the chequers. Although not cheap, the location is good and the establishment is more upscale than cheaper places. Staff friendly. Quiet on the day we visited. I don't necessarily agree with the 10% service fee being added automatically but there was an option to remove this if we wanted (which we didnt).

We used to visit The Chequers regularly under the previous ownership but became very disillusioned with the poor service so stopped going. We thought it was about time we gave it another try under the new ownership and we weren’t disappointed! The food was as delicious as ever and the service was second to none. No more having to sit there with dirty plates in front of you for what seemed like an eternity, no more having to wait and wait for them to come and take your order. These guys were on the ball. Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back. Thank you for resurrecting our favourite restaurant.

Celebrated a dear friends 85th birthday here at lunchtime and they really looked after us. Excellent service and good food at a good price from their lunch menu.

Lovely place and the food was outstanding. I had the chick, ham and leek pie and although when it appeared it looked on the small side, the taste was amazing and it was really filling. Veg was excellent too. Drinks were good. Staff were very good, however, they did lose our initial order do we had to reorder but it came very quickly and they took our initial drinks order off the bill. Great customer service in my book. A lovely evening and we will definitely go again.
