Wonderful friendly staff, comfortable rooms, surprisingly good choice of gluten free food options. The view was exceptional and we had a wonderful walk along the beach/railway line to Dawlish. Great for smaller children with entertainment and games and soft play. My daughter enjoyed the pool which was nice and warm. Found the bed to be very very hard and I’m not normally fussy. But duvets and pillows were lovely. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you

I've been coming here for the past 3-4 years with my partner and his family for Borderlands' Linedancing weekend. It's a fantastic event and the hotel is beautiful! The foyer is gorgeous and the bar area is great to hang around in during down time. All the staff are absolutely wonderful to speak to and very accommodating. The rooms I've stayed in have all been nothing short of great. The pool is really ideal when you're too cold to dip in the sea but you want to cool down. There's gym facilities and plenty to keep yourself entertained with, with a large TV showing sports, news, etc. and a pool table room. The food is tasty and fresh. It's just a really lovely hotel and I always look forward to coming here for entertainment and a nice relaxing Dawlish holiday.

We had a lovely family holiday at Langstone Cliff Hotel in Devon. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We opted for a standard family room which worked, but we will definitely upgrade to a larger room next time for more space. The food was great. We had a cooked Breakfast everyday which was quality, and the main meals were amazing. The desserts could have been better, but that might just be my personal taste. I'm more of a carrot cake or sticky toffee pudding with custard guy which wasn't on the menu (maybe I'll get lucky next time). The location is brilliant. A short walk and we were on the beach. Fantastic! We hope to visit again next year.

We chose the hotel because of the reviews. We were overjoyed with our superb relaxing stay at this wonderful hotel. We had exemplary customer service from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, and considering our stay was just over a week, we highly comnmend their high standards and exemplary achievements. ||The food was delicious and absolutely amazing. We booked dinner, bed, and breakfast and had lunch daily from the bar menu. The food was so good we never ate elsewhere. I have never been anywhere that has taken such good care of my dietry needs as well as this hotel did. ||Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The service they provided us during our stay was second to none. It was beyond excellent.||My only gripe was that we could not extend our stay as we wanted to because they were fully booked. ||We shall have to book for longer next time and will be back. Can't wait to return. ||A huge thanks and well done to all the staff at the wonderful Langstone Cliff Hotel. And I haven't even touched on the family ownership back story which is amazing, the grounds, views, lovely lounges, facilities, and the fantastic swimming pool. ||We put simply loved it!

Just had an absolutely wonderful stay at this coastal gem of a Hotel. Myself, Wife and 2 sons cannot praise this place enough, it has all the charms and features of what made holidays great during my childhood. Great on site facilities, lovely staff (didn’t meet 1 member of staff who wasn’t helpful or polite), good size family suite with separate bedroom for kids and lovely food. Booked Bed, Breakfast and evening meals. Food is lovely, tasty and hot. Lovely bar and drinks service literally anywhere in the hotel. Pools and all areas were clean and well maintained. If you like traditional British hotels that offer the personal touch then you should try here. Whilst we stayed a couple were celebrating their 40th consecutive year of visiting which probably says it all. Great access to all nearby attractions too from the coastal path literally at the end of the hotel gardens. Will definitely be going back, thanks for a lovely holiday.

Lovely hotel. We came in to meet a friend for drinks and lunch. Ordered at the bar, where staff were very slow indeed, especially with the coffees. Food was good and brought to our table by friendly staff. It was very busy with list of guests milling around with children and dogs alike. A nice ‘buzzy’ atmosphere!

Me and my Daughter spent three days at this lovely hotel. Our room was lovely with a sea view and balcony. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had the bed breakfast and evening meal option there was plenty of choice and the food was nice enough but on seeing the choices on the bar food we wished we had opted for that instead. In all it was good value for money and we would return again.

Went here with Johnsons Coach Holidays. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The hotel is clean and comfortable, lovely decor but a bit draughty in the evenings as the the doors were open, so made it a bit uncomfortable on a few nights to sit and relax in the lounge areas. |Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.|The restaurant was very attractive with good choice of menu and friendly waiting staff. |The outside terrace area and gardens were beautiful and well maintained with lovely views. The weather was not bad during our stay but cool evenings, so would love to go back in the summer when the evenings are warmer so we could sit outside and watch the sun go down with a nice glass of wine. |We really enjoyed our stay, would love to go back in the summer and stay longer. Can't really fault anything about hotel, would love to go back!
