Stayed there for 1 night as visiting for grandsons wedding. What a great stay. Rooms fantastic, host was brilliant and the breakfast that my son and I had was 5 star and he was a trained chef. Recommend to all my friends and when I'm back down this way will definitely stay again

One of the best breaks I have had in the UK. I can highly recommend this lovely B&B located very close to Lavenham. The accommodation is spacious, immaculately clean and tidy. As you enter you can see that great care has been taken to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. The owner is extremely hospitable and takes great care in explaining where to find everything you need in the nearby village. He was open to questions and was very helpful with the requests we had. The breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked and presented. If you are seeking an escape to the countryside for a little peace and quiet Poplars Farmhouse is absolutely ideal for some downtime.

Wonderful peaceful thoughtfully refurbished farmhouse B&B ..lovely setting in quiet valley and yet within striking distance of Stoke By Nayland's pubs for evening meals....warm welcome beautifully maintained very ancient building. splendid breakfast with locally sourced ingredients.

Lovely old building that is tastefully decorated and furnished. We had the Boat Room which was a good size and had a modern on suite. Every thing was well presented and very clean. Our hosts gave us tea and cake on arrival, which was a nice touch. Breakfasts were excellent with a range of items to select and cooked to order. I can't think of anything that could be improved about the B&B. Being very picky, the road down to the property is narrow and rutted. Overall we cannot recommend Poplars Farmhouse highly enough.

A lovely B+B in a beautiful setting. Immaculate rooms full of character.David is the perfect host offering tea and cake on arrival and always there to help if necessary. Breakfast is the best you will ever have and I will be definitely returning

Fantastic B&B hidden within the countryside of Constable Country. This hidden gem is within the most beautiful setting and is definitely underpriced and rated as a 3star…. The whole experience from arriving to departure is definitely a 5 star experience, with amazing breakfast and attentive owner with lots of local knowledge with regards to helping you decide where to visit or eat dinner during your stay. We stayed in the boat room which has a fantastic view of the gardens, with squirrels and pheasants running around outside…. We have stayed in many lesser rated b&b’s and hotels around the world for more than twice the money. There are only 4 available rooms but they are amongst the best you’ll experience, so if you want to experience John Constable’s Flatford or Dedham mills, then look no further….. Thank-You David & Paul for making us so welcome in your home..

Very highly recommended. A superb B&B, with excellent hosts, delightful room and a lovely garden. The breakfast is second to none. We will definitely return for another relaxing stay.
