This cafe must have changed hands, we had fond memories of coming here with really good food on offer. It’s posing as the same cafe but service was a hassle and made us feel as if they didn’t want us to be in there, they only had around 3 tables in so there was no atmosphere and the food was badly presented and nothing to write home about. Super disappointed.

What a lovely café. From the outside, it was very unassuming and could have easily been missed. Once we were inside, it was very nice, and was very clean and tidy. We were greeted immediately by a lovely and very friendly gent who told us to choose a table. We did, and eventually ordered two lunch meals. I had a jacket with beans, and my guest had a Mac and cheese, which we also had alongside two drinks and two Victoria sponges. The food menu was the perfect size for a café menu, being enough to cater to most people, but small enough not to be overwhelming with choice. The food was very quick to arrive to the table and both of us commented that the taste was also absolutely delicious. Toilets nice and clean. Atmosphere in the café was calm and relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again. Thank you!

Lovely food, very clean, smashing staff. Only problem is climbing the stairs to the toilet, especially if you've just eaten. They are very clean though.

What a welcoming place. Lovely food, great ambience. Space to move and around tables. 3 of us had drinks and food. Welsh rarebit, trawlerman sandwich and coffee cake. All fresh and delicious. Definitely going back!
