The Grove consistently has amazing food & drinks! It’s one of my favorite casual breakfast spots tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains just outside of town. They also do fun themed dinners every so often! I recently went to their plant based 5 course Shroomami themed dinner and every dish was incredible and it was super affordable for this type of service. I can’t not recommend this place more for locals & visitors from out of town!

The breakfast sandwich has a homemade biscuit and your choice of bacon, sausage or avocado. I had mine with a bowl of soul (super tasty too). There's a patio in the back, seating inside and seating in front. I definitely plan to return for more 😌.

Very cool place, great atmosphere, but overpriced and extremely slow and unfriendly service. $25 for a coffee and avocado toast to go. The toast took over 20 minutes to make (only one other person in the shop). And it was completely different than described on the board. It said, cucumber carrot and mint avocado toast. I got pickled onion and pumpkin seed toast, which I would not have ordered. I was not in a rush but did have to be somewhere. When asked about the toast, I got a sharp, “it’s only been 19 minutes“ response. I am local but don’t frequent the business because of prices and slow service.

I had the most delicious mushroom sandwich, with a moist carrot cake and fresh pineapple espresso drink. Good service, cute cafe. Dogs allowed on back patio

The Grove Cafe is such a cute cafe. I loved the atmosphere and all the menu items sounded so good! My boyfriend and I got the Honey Bear latte, Cardamom latte, Ham and Brie brioche (this would be awesome as a melt as well) and the Mango curry chicken salad sandwich (which wasn’t too far from just a chicken salad sandwich). Everything was amazing and I would highly recommend coming here. Bit on the pricier side but I would still come back for a once in a while coffee outing.

The best Frittata I've ever had! Silky, savory, buttery rich, lifted by the bright and grassy chimichurry. The tart salad dressing and pickles were the perfect complement! I know, this is a lot about one dish, but it's representative of everything I've ever eaten at The Grove. Everything is made with care and excellence right down to the smallest detail. When you go here, you know you'll have a great meal, even if it's just coffee and a mochi donut (so good!). Everyone is always super friendly, too. A genuinely welcoming place. ❤️ I'm beyond grateful for this spot in my hometown!

This bakery was so quaint and lovely. The menu was pretty extensive given the small size of the shop. My berry pastry is phenomenal. I would recommend this to anyone

Jessica Yarr is a phenomenal chef and happens to be the stepdaughter of the in-town Bigfoot museum. I go back as often as I can for the savory scones. Her breakfasts are delicious, though pricey. I haven’t eaten anything here that I didn’t like.
