Called in here just to have coffee, half way round a long hike and ended up having lunch. What a lovely little spot with amazing views from the tables in the conservatory. The cheese sandwich and chips were spot on with good quality cheddar and amazing crispy chips with a soft centre. The staff were lovely and the cafe was spotlessly clean. I can highly recommend!

Went for the first time on Sunday, lovely place very cute , tea was lovely and food was really good. Only negative was waited ages to be seated , then people came in and just sat down so we did the same, only for a waitress to come over with menus and snap "oh your sitting there are you" plonked menus down walked away We had no idea whether to order at the counter or if someone was coming over so waited and eventually I went to ask if we ordered at counter to be told just go sit down please someone will come over Just felt like an inconvenience and shamed to be honest. Maybe would be helpful to tell people how it works, for people who haven't been before. Made the experience very uncomfortable But food was nice and probably would go back but not gonna lie the service just made me feel uncomfortable

During our visit yesterday, my wife and I were treated to an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. We both savored the heavenly milkshakes, sipping on the delectable flavors while sharing smiles and creating cherished memories. The delightful ice cream also captured our taste buds, and we indulged in each other's company over every creamy spoonful. The ambiance and delicious food made it a perfect outing for the two of us. We can't wait to return and relive this wonderful experience together. 5/5

I visited to buy local products as Christmas gifts. They had a great selection of jams, spreads, chutneys, meats, cheeses, ice cream and plenty of other stuff. All great prices for local high quality products.

We had booked, she couldn’t find our booking even our name was on the table! . We have been for breakfast before and it has always been very good, but not today! 1 and a 1/2 sausage that just smacks of desperation , cold egg, cold toast! Hardly any mushrooms it was just poor poor poor!

A lovely place to grab a great coffee, food really good home made, as is their ice-cream and homemade cakes pies and pastries....delicious. They have a small deli section that sells homemade sausages, bacon and vacuum packed meats from home reared animals, along with some delicious absolutely delicious Lancashire cheeses, the best I've tasted in a long time. Great seating areas outside whilst you can have your lunch the kids can safely play on one of the many toy tractors. Give it a try you will not be disappointed!
