Bit of a narrow road to get there, but plenty of passing places. Good sized car park and reasonably priced. The Cow Shed is next to the car park and camp site, which in turn are next to the beach - so all very close by if you don’t want to walk far. The beach itself is huge when the tide is out and has lovely views of the surrounding seaside towns. It is also dog friendly. After our walk we went to The Cow Shed for some lunch. There are plenty of places to sit both inside, undercover outside and properly outside at picnic tables. This place is so dog friendly, it even has a dog wash which looks quite fancy. The hot pork sandwich didn’t disappoint and the sandwiches have a gluten free bread option. This was a great find and we definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely place in a beautiful spot, right on the beach. We visited with our dog then on our motorbike with a group of friends and were welcomed on both occasions. Food was lovely too. Highly recommended

I totally agree with local guide Samantha Abosh: there's a narrow lane to get there, but plenty of passing places with a reasonably priced beachside car park right next to The Cow Shed and camp site. The expansive beach (huge when the tide is out) stretches right down to Spurn point (nature reserve/sssi) with views of Bridlingtons town and right along to Bempton lighthouse). Dog friendly cafe The Cow Shed has plenty of indoor tables and picnic benches outside. There are plenty of places to sit both inside, undercover outside and properly outside at picnic tables. Their dog wash looks quite fancy. Disabled wheelchair level access looks 1st rate Inc. A dedicated disabled loo with the drop-down hand rail.

We just had soup & bread roll with tea & coffee. It was all very nice with good service. All food we saw being served look lovely. Prices were a little expensive but it is a nice place in a great location. We will come again. We’ve been again. Still as good. Lovely burger & chips & mushroom risotto. Both were very nice. We will be back on a regular basis. September 2025 Called in for a flat white coffee after walking to The Cow Shed from Bridlington. We thought the cost of £4.25 for the above one coffee (in a paper cup) was a little expensive. We will take a flask of coffee next and drink it by the nearby beach!

Oh my goodness, the woman in charge was so rude. I was looking forward to a rare treat of hot chocolate but on asking what non-dairy milk there was (allergy not preference) I was met with eye-rolling! And sighing due to me taking time - cafe wasn't busy as it was early New Year's Day so no need for the impatience or rudeness. Walked to lovely cafe in Bridlington where locals knew of the woman's grumpy reputation, so not due to hangover or anything. Enjoyed a lovely hot chocolate in a lovely atmosphere at the cafe in Bridlington, sadly can't remember the name.

The best burger I have ever had....for 6.95. High praise. Super local, made with beef from the farm. The meat is what makes it but the onion relish is exceptional too. Beautiful view. So close to the beach. Friendly staff. We had a leisurely walk down along the sand from Bridlington. Light lunch at high tide and then back up.

We visited today and decided to have take out as the kids were wet from the beach. Highly disappointing. The place itself is gorgeous, with good seating and superb access to the beach. The drinks were also divine. However, the food was shocking. The sausages were generic meat - not the excepted meat I would expect from a farm. The sausages were also so dry and appeared to have been cooked hours ago. I also purchased chips and they have clearly been cooked in very old oil - genuinely unpleasant to eat. I had asked for a bag to put the items in to take away but they didn't have one and no assistance was offered. It was busy and there were no smiles on staff - very much felt like a number and not a valued customer. Unfortunately I won't be visiting again as the quality and expectation wasn't there. Such a shame as the setting is glorious.
