We came here for the 1st time today on a passing visit and it won't be the last. Paul is very welcoming and a great host. Food is excellent, one of the best breakfasts I have had and the girls very happy with their food. Everything is done properly and to a very high standard. The homemade baked beans were 👌🏼 It's nice to have such a great independent place to go to rather than the usual options. Thanks for a great breakfast!

It’s always a joy visiting here! I hadn’t tried this place until recently, and I’m so glad I finally did - it’s a real gem in Harborne! The breakfasts and brunches are delicious, well seasoned, and some of the best in Birmingham 🥞☕✨ The team is so warm and welcoming - fun fact: the first time I visited, I told my server how much we loved it… and it was Paul, the owner! Huge shout-out to the rest of the team, especially the lovely lady with her gorgeous outfits. It can get busy, but wait times are only around 5-10 minutes. I’ve brought friends and my boyfriend - they all loved it. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely independent café with plenty of options for everyone. Paul, Lyn and Lee do the utmost to make you feel welcome. They are very friendly and accommodating for dietary requirements. They even serve vegan sweet treats! The food is very well-seasoned and the coffee is wonderful. Highlights are the homemade beans and the scrambled tofu/(scrambled eggs). We will definitely be back! 😊

This is honestly one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to – absolutely nothing to fault, from the service to the quality of the food. It was super busy, but the owner went out of his way to find us a table, which was really appreciated. The ingredients were top-notch, with some lovely twists like homemade beans and a hash brown that’s more like a mash with spinach – so good! The owner even shared the story behind it, inspired by his childhood, which made it even more special. The tea was spot on too – not many places in Birmingham serve a proper pot of Earl Grey that tastes this good. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s one of those places where you really get what you pay for – totally worth it. Well done, guys – you’re absolutely smashing it. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks again!

visited this morning with my friend for brunch on sunny day in harborne and was instantly charmed by this wonderful place! the menu was extensive and carefully allowed the high quality locally sourced ingredients to shine. i opted for the scrambled tofu over sourdough and it was seasoned perfectly and my friend offered a glowing review of her omelette and smoothie. the service by paul was incredibly attentive and thoughtful (as well as from the chef)and straight away apparent from when you first walk in. will definitely be returning to try some of there lovely selection of cakes!!!! oh and the coffee was wonderful too :)
