Service was quick, very professional and polite. Enjoyed a large black coffee which was spot on and was tempted by the coconut tart. Was surprised by the tart. The pastry was well cooked,the contents not too sweet and a good sized portion. Looking forward to popping in for more tasty treats served with a smile.

I’ve visited the Fig Tree a fair amount of times, and the food and coffees and choices of cakes have always been decent. My main gripe is the place has zero atmosphere, and it never feels very warm there during the winter months. It’s okay for a coffee and breakfast/lunch if needed, but it’s not the kind of cafe that you can chill out and relax in. I’d suggest some decent light background music (but not the radio) playing to make for a better atmosphere, and turning the heating up in winter so you aren’t forced to stay there just long enough to drink a coffee quickly and leave. When you are competing with several other cafes in the area that are good, you need to be competitive in all ways, so I would recommend considering at the above-comments.

A nice place to watch the world go by. The pancakes appeared to be pricey on initial inspection of the menu, but the portion is hefty! Truly a place of pilgrimage for North Lincolnshire's sweet pancake cognoscenti.

Ordered two large brekkies, pot of tea for two, service was prompt, was a slight mix up between our table and the one to the next however they handled it fantastically and professionally, my partner is very picky with her eggs, they did them perfectly to her standard. Was offered a free drink due to mix up however they comped my partners lemon cake instead, I'm sure the cake will be just as lovely as the breakfasts we were served. Thank you Fig Tree!! -Two young travellers ❤️

Took our little granddaughter there today and all the staff were really lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful. Let her choose her plate colour, provided toddler cutlery, and asked if anything needed to be changed to suit her tastes. Food is always first class but this was first visit for her and we’d certainly take her again! Thank you!

Lovely, clean friendly cafe serving nice food and good coffee. I went past it on Tues morning and it was very busy, so went on Wed. I had a small veggie breakfast, perfect size.

Staff are so lovely! We came from Hull for Barton Bike night and all the food stalls ridiculously overpriced for stuff like overcooked donuts, we came across this cafe as we were walking round and I’m so glad we did. They do home made Bronuts which are amazing!! 🤩 so many other sweet treats to try, hopefully next time!
